WiCys (Women in Cybersecurity) is a organization dedicated to providing equal opportunity and advancement for women in the field of cybersecurity. We are proud to announce that IVC is opening a WiCys chapter to bring these same goals and ideals to our community!

“Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) was established in 2012 by Dr. Ambareen Siraj of Tennessee Tech University through a National Science Foundation grant. In less than ten short years, the organization has grown into a leading alliance between trailblazers from academia, government, and industry.

The WiCyS community brings together women, allies, and advocates who can empower each other, and collectively help in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in the cybersecurity workforce.
